Our Team

Brian Wasige

Founder & CEO

Brian is driven by Patrium’s mission to reduce the documentation burden on clinicians and improve care delivery in home health and hospice. He was first introduced to the industry through a family member who built a home health agency from the ground up—an experience that sparked Brian’s deep dive into the space and revealed widespread pain points across clinical and operational workflows. Before founding Patrium, Brian was an advisor at Avivar Capital, where he supported investment diligence and research, with a focus on emerging technologies including AI and machine learning. He also represented the firm in the T3 Innovation Network, helping explore the future of work through Web 3.0 technologies.

Linda Scott

MSHA, RN
Clinical Success Lead

Linda is a registered nurse with over 35 years of experience in home and community-based care. At Patrium Health, she leads clinical quality and customer success, drawing on a career that spans all aspects of home care operations, clinical and financial management. Linda works directly with clinicians, QA teams, and agency leaders to ensure Patrium’s technology fits naturally into real clinical workflows—adding value without adding burden. She brings a seasoned perspective on the evolving landscape of home-based care, complex regulatory and reimbursement requirements, and the operational realities facing care teams today.

Mec Sichangi

Engineering Lead

Mecolela (“Mec”) Sichangi is Head of Engineering at Patrium Health, where he leads the development of scalable, reliable tools that support clinicians in real-world care settings. Before joining Patrium, he co-founded and served as CTO of HelloDuty, a no/low-code customer engagement platform that scaled to 47 African countries and expanded globally. He previously led engineering at iLabAfrica’s IoT Lab, developing wireless sensor networks for health and logistics in low-connectivity environments. With a career focused on building technology that works where it’s needed most, Mec brings a critical perspective to powering real-time care delivery in the home.

Bianca Giusto

MBA, PMP
Customer Experience & Growth Lead

Bianca leads go-to-market efforts at Patrium Health. Her passion for this space began in college, where her plans to go into medicine shifted after seeing how much time clinicians spent documenting rather than caring for patients. That insight sparked a career focused on building solutions that make healthcare more scalable and humane—from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 transformations. Before joining Patrium, Bianca worked in M&A and innovation consulting at Ernst & Young, helping launch and grow new ventures. At Patrium, she oversees pilot operations and customer onboarding, making sure that working with the team feels seamless, supportive, and impactful.

Dr. Alan Kaplan

Clinical Advisor

Dr. Kaplan is a practicing physician and an advisor at IDEO. He previously served as an administrator at MLK Community Hospital –a tech-forward startup hospital in South Los Angeles. Within two years, he helped build and grow a multispecialty medical group there from the ground up. As Medical Director for Clinical Integration, he designed and implemented strategies to optimize transitions of care, including deep work in Home Health clinical care. He cultivated and led a partnership with IDEO and Ford Smart Mobility to design and implement a telemedicine-enabled mobile clinic to expand access to care using a high-touch, high-tech approach. He also works with Medtronic, designing a value-based care strategy for certain pelvic health conditions. His approach to innovation begins and ends with human-centered design coupled with a passion for improving care in the hardest to reach communities.
